Poisonous mushrooms kills father and a son

ILAM: JULY 25 – A father and son have died while eating wild mushrooms as a vegetable in Phakphokthum Rural Municipality of Ilam district. The deceased have been identified as Lekh Bahadur Limbu, 51, of Phakphokthum-1 and his son Diwas Limbu, 12.

The two were admitted to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar for treatment on July 18, according to the police. Both died while receiving treatment at the hospital, according to Ganga Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.
