America’s vaccine will be administered from tomorrow
KATHMANDU: JULY 12 – The 1.5 million doses of vaccine provided to Nepal by the US government through Covax will be administered from Tuesday. The US Department of Health has announced that the Johnson vaccination campaign will be launched tomorrow.
In addition, all citizens, persons with complete and severe disabilities, refugees currently living in Nepal, and health workers and healthcare workers working in health facilities will be given the first dosage of Johnson’s vaccine.
The department has also stated that a campaign will be launched for the purchase of the Vero Cell vaccine from China. The first dosage of covid vaccine is yet to be given to university professors and staff, drivers as well as co-drivers of public transport, those active in governmental mandated emergency services, and all of Nepal to those nations that require vaccination.

The Department of Services has stated that the drivers and co-drivers working in public transport will be vaccinated on the basis of the list certified by the Chief District Officer by demanding factual details from the business association along with the identity card and vehicle number.
