NEPSE reached an all-time high, turnover of Rs 17 billion

KATHMANDU: JUNE 6 – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index reached an all-time high on Sunday.

The NEPSE index had reached an all-time high of 2919.10 points in Sunday’s trading. By the end of the trading session, it closed at 2806 points. The index rose 50.13 points on Sunday.

In terms of transaction amount, the highest turnover of Rs 17.27 billion has been recorded so far. This day has been the most traded so far. 37.4 million 55 thousand 189 lots of shares have been bought and sold.

Shares of Mahila Laghubitta have risen 10 percent. Shares of Goodwill Finance, Lumbini Development Bank, Ridi Hydro and other companies rose 9.98 percent to more than 9 percent.

After this day’s trading, the market capitalization has reached 4 trillion 33 billion.
