Spoon Remit by Everest Bank, Partnership for Remittance Services with UK

KATHMANDU: JUNE 3 – Everest Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Spoon Remit, an online money transfer service in the UK, to provide remittance services for remittances from the UK to Nepal.

The agreement has been jointly signed by Assistant General Manager of the Bank Ashutosh Sharma and Managing Director of Spoon Remit Wahidullah Safi.

Spoon Remit, registered for online products and trading, is the name under MA Fastmove Lee, which is said to be available on both Android and iOS for web as well as mobile applications.

Now remittances in the UK can easily send money to Nepal from Everest Remit by registering themselves with Spoon Remit.

The partnership aims to expand the bank’s services to the UK as well as provide more convenience to the bank’s remittance customers.

Remittances received from Spoon Remit can be paid in real time at any time through bank deposit from any bank in Nepal and cash payments can be made from more than 9,000 pay out agents spread across Nepal and any of the 103 branches of the bank.
