Copa America: Uruguay and Paraguay in the quarterfinals

KATHMANDU: JUNE 25 – Uruguay and Paraguay drew 2-0 in Group A of the Copa America on Friday. Uruguay beat Bolivia 2-0 on Friday morning.

Edinson Cavani scored a goal in Uruguay’s victory, while Bolivia’s Carlos Lampe scored a suicide goal. After this victory, Uruguay has reached the knockout stage. Uruguay have four points from three games, including one win, one draw and one loss. This is Bolivia’s third consecutive defeat.

In the other match, Paraguay defeated Chile 2-0. Braian Samudio and Miguel Almiron scored a goal each in Paraguay’s victory.

Along with this win, Paraguay has reached the quarter finals from Group A. Paraguay have six points from three games and are second in the table. Similarly, Chile has 5 points in 4 games and has already reached the quarterfinals.
