Even when NEPSE dropped by one point, the turnover was around Rs 15 billion

KATHMANDU: MAY 27 – Nepal’s stock market Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell slightly on Thursday. On this day, NEPSE has decreased by 1.20 points and reached 2815.39 points.
Despite the decline in Nepse on this day, the transaction amount has remained high till now. A total of 41,813,994 shares of 215 companies worth Rs 14 arab 76 crore 88 lakh 8 thousand 4 hundered 12 rupees have been bought and sold on this day.
On this day, group indicators of hotels and tourism, banking, microfinance, life insurance, investment and other groups have declined. Apart from these, all groups have increased.
The share price of Khanikhola Hydropower Company, Nepal Hydro Developers Limited, United Modi Hydro Power has risen by 10/10 percent. Similarly, share prices of Joshi, Radhi and other hydropower companies have also gone up.
