The Ministry of Finance has agreed to provide additional Rs. 81 million to 12 hospitals

KATHMANDU: MAY 24 – The Ministry of Finance has agreed to set up an oxygen plant, oxygen tank, HDU connection and purchase of PCR machine for 12 hospitals at an additional cost of Rs 81 million.

Of this, Rs 8 million has been allocated to TRI Teaching Hospital, Rs 7.5 million to District Hospital Chautara, Rs 7.5 million to District Hospital Dailekh, Rs 7.5 million to District Hospital Dhankuta, Rs 7.5 million to District Hospital Jaleshwor and Rs 7.5 million to District Hospital Ilam.

Similarly, District Hospital Sankhuwasabha has Rs 8 million, Ramechhap Hospital Rs 7.5 million, Chaurjahari Hospital Rukum West Rs 7.5 million, Tikapur Hospital Kailali Rs 7.5 million, Okhaldhunga Hospital Rs 2.5 million and Vyas Hospital Rs 2.5 million.

According to the demand of the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Finance has been agreeing to provide necessary materials and infrastructure for the control, treatment and prevention of Covid at different times.
