Hand tractor to farmers of Gokarneshwor

KATHMANDU: SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2021 – Gokarneshwor Municipality has distributed hand tractors to farmers.

Under the annual sanctioned program of the Agriculture Development Branch of the municipality, hand tractors have been distributed to 15 farmer groups in wards 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the municipality at the rate of one each.

During a program in the municipality, Mayor Santosh Chalise, Deputy Chief Shanti Nepal and others provided the materials. Indira Khadka, chief of the agriculture branch of the municipality, said that 50 percent of the grant was distributed among the farmers and the rest was distributed among the farmers.
