Australia will assist in the response against Covid-19

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 – Australia will provide Rs. 635 million to the Government of Nepal for retaliation against COVID-19.

The Australian embassy here said the money was used to buy essential medical supplies, including oxygen, and personal safety equipment for provincial hospitals and health workers working there.

The embassy said that assistance would be mobilized through American, British, Japanese and UN agencies working among ordinary Nepalis at the local level in Nepal. -RSS
