80 million of Nabil Bank for Corona prevention

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 – Nabil Bank will assist the National Academy of Medical Sciences (Bir Hospital) in setting up an oxygen plant. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Nabil Bank and Bir Hospital in this regard.

As per the agreement, Nabil Bank will support the entire cost of setting up an oxygen plant with a capacity of 50 cubic liters / hour and the hospital will provide the required space. The bank is confident that the plant will provide oxygen to the hospital and save the lives of many patients.

Nabil Bank has been supporting the Government of Nepal in various ways since the beginning of the Covid epidemic under its corporate social responsibility. In the current Fiscal Year, Nabil Bank has provided 60 million cash assistance to the Government of Nepal for the response of Covid-19.

Similarly, Nabil Bank had also started partnerships with various government and disaster organizations. Similarly, the bank has entered into an agreement with Bir Hospital to support the entire cost of setting up an oxygen plant.

The bank has said that it has taken further steps to provide oxygen concentrators to some hospitals along with the oxygen plant at Bir Hospital. By doing all this, the bank will provide about Rs 80 million for the prevention and control of Corona.
