Rise in Nepse, turnover above Rs 11 billion

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 18, 2021 – The stock market rose by 34.68 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

By the end of trading on Tuesday, the Nepse index had risen 1.26 percent to 497.22 points. On this day, the Sensitive Index has increased by 4.64 points and reached 2793.82 points.

Of the 13 groups that traded on Tuesday, only production and processing declined, while investment, Hotel and Tourism, Trade other, Non-Life Insurance, Life Insurance, Laghubitta Bittiya, Bikash Bank Banking, Hydropower, Mutual Funds, Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and all group groups rose.

Today, 231.31 million shares of 215 companies have been bought / sold at a price of Rs 11.35 billion.

Likewise, the share prices of Best Finance Company, Ghalemdi Hydropower, Bishal Bazar Company, Himal Dolakha Hydropower, Mithila Laghubitta, National Hydro Power, Oriental Hotel, Soaltee Hotel, Samata Laghubitta Bittiya and Shiva Shree Hydropower have risen by 10 percent.
