Testing of Telecom’s VoLTE service from today

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 – On the occasion of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, Nepal Telecom has started testing the Voice Over VoLTE service.

The trial of LTE service has been started in the fourth generation 4G of wireless technology from today saying that it will modernize the services of Telecom. Telecom spokesperson Rajesh Joshi informed that the service is being tested on prepaid and postpaid 4G mobiles.

According to him, with the availability of the service, high definition voice will be available on 4G Mobile, with the easy availability of dialing network, more quality of service will be realized.

How to get service

VoLTE can be activated on the SIM by dialing 84443 on the mobile that supports VoLTE for the service.

Similarly, to activate the service on the mobile, you have to enable VoLTE call for NTC SIM in the settings of the mobile. Immediately a VoLTE signal appears on the top wave of the mobile set. When the VoLTE signal appears, dial 811113.

Users of VoLTE service will be able to use Nepal Telecom’s network for 28 days and 100 minutes of voice facility will be provided free of cost for one time.
