Corporation raises petroleum prices

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 17 – Nepal Oil Corporation has again increased the price of petroleum. The corporation has increased the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel by Rs 2 per liter.

Consumers will now have to pay Rs 123 per liter for petrol, Rs 106 per liter for diesel and Rs 78 per liter for aviation fuel. Retail prices of LP gas and aviation fuel have remained unchanged.

The corporation claims that there is a loss of Rs 8.56 per liter on petrol, Rs 4.46 per liter on diesel and Rs 375.13 per cylinder on gas even after the price hike.
