NMB debentures open with annual 6.5 percent interest

KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MAY 16, 2021 – NMB Bank has opened the sale of ‘NMB Debenture 2077/78’ from Sunday.

This is a letter of credit brought by NMB Bank with an annual interest of 8.5 percent. This bond with a face value of Rs 1,000 per unit can be purchased for at least 25 units.

The bank will pay the interest on the loan every six months. Similarly, after 10 years, the loan bank will repay the profit to the buyer. In a way, this is the loan given to the bank by the common man.

To apply for this loan letter can be submitted as early as 5th Baisakh and in case of insufficient application, purchase application can be submitted as late as 16th Baisakh.

Out of the total bond of Rs 2 billion, Rs 1.20 billion will be sold through private placement. Similarly, 40 million will be sold to collective investment funds and 760 million to the general public.
