Development bankers urge to do digital business

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2021 – The Development Bankers’ Association has urged the development banks and service recipients to do banking business with digital devices as much as possible. The association has made this request keeping in mind the risk of Covid-19 infection.

In a statement issued on Friday, the association decided to take all possible safety measures for the employees and to call the employees of the bank’s head office only for urgent work. Similarly, it has been decided to call the employees of Information Technology, Consumer Department and Cash Department to the office only on the basis of need.

It has been decided to resolve the requests and suggestions made by the service recipients through the liaison person of the bank in a practical manner within the scope of the instructions given by the Nepal Rastra Bank.
