KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 2021 – Citizens Bank International Limited has expanded its branchless banking services with the objective of providing accessible and state-of-the-art banking services.
Meanwhile, the bank has launched 109th branchless banking service in Triyuga Municipality-6 Lalpatta of Udaipur district. Local businessman Roma Kumari Thapa has been appointed as the business representative to operate the service in the area.
The aim of this branchless banking is to provide deposit collection, payment, fund transfer, payment of mobile phone bills, payment of utility services and other services provided by the bank. The bank expects that this service will spread remarkable trust and banking culture in the rural areas.
Citizens Bank International Limited has stated that it is providing the financial needs of its customers through digital channels by making maximum use of the latest technology.
To make it tangible, the bank can log in to the mobile banking app without using a check, scan the QR code at the counter, withdraw money from the account, scan and withdraw service, forget the PIN number of mobile banking, go to the bank branch and reset the PIN from home without any hassle. The bank has stated that it has started. The bank believes that this type of service will help in the development of digital banking civilization.
In order to minimize the situation of lack of business knowledge, lack of knowledge of financial market, unfamiliarity with policies, rules and systems and inadequacy of business training and orientation, lack of proper counseling, financial literacy and lack of access to investment capital, this bank has access to financial literacy programs.
