The Sarbottam Cement will build a 15-bed hospital in Sunwal
KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7, 2021 – The Sarbottam Cement is to build a 15-bed hospital. A hospital is to be built in Sunwal Municipality of Nawalparasi. Under the social responsibility, Sarbottam Cement has given a commitment letter to the municipality to build a hospital.
Chairman of Sarbottam Cement Bishnu Neupane has handed over the commitment letter for the construction of the hospital at a cost of Rs 40 million to Sunwal Municipality Chief Bhim Bahadur Thapa Chhetri. Lumbini Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel was also present on the occasion.
Similarly, the Lila Ram Neupane Emergency Room at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa has been inaugurated in the memory of Lila Ram Neupane, the father of the company’s chairman Neupane. The state-of-the-art room has three ICUs with 25 beds and two ventilators, the company said. The construction cost of the two-storey building is said to be Rs 32.5 million.
The industry has increased its production capacity from 40,000 bags per day to 60,000 bags. Sarbottam Cement is the first cement industry in Nepal to produce cement using state-of-the-art European VRM technology.
ISO The company, which has 9001 quality certified, 14001 environment-friendly certified and Nepal quality certified, has been producing and selling cements of Green Best OPC and Saurabh Green PPC, said Gopal Sharda, brand manager of the company.
