Rajendra Malla unopposed as chamber chairman, yet to be announced
KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – It has been decided that Rajendra Malla will be elected as the chairman of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce. As the election of the working committee of the chamber has been announced on 28th of Chait, the announcement of all the candidates will also be made on that day. As the final list of candidates has been published, it has been decided that the office bearers of all the posts of the chamber will be elected unopposed.
Malla, who will be elected unopposed as the chairperson, has already become the general secretary of the Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce. He became a member of the chamber in 2062 BS. Malla has invested in Manang Air and Prabhu Insurance, Bhaktapur Brick Tile Factory, Kantipur Engineering College, Tilaura Resort in Jarsingh Pauwa and Thamel Trade Center.
The working committee will have 15 members from the commercial sector, 9 from the industry sector, 15 from the district chamber of commerce, 1 from the chamber of commerce, 9 from the commodity association, 3 from the institutional chamber of commerce and 3 from the affiliated association.
Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal and Deepak Malhotra will be re-elected as senior vice president and vice president respectively.
