Demonstration by ANNFSU against the increase in the price of petroleum products

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – A student organization of Madhav Kumar Nepal’s side, Nepal Students’ Union, has protested against the price hike of petroleum products by the Nepal Oil Corporation.

After the government again increased the price of petroleum products with effect from 12 noon on Sunday, the Nepal Students’ Union staged a protest in front of the Oil Corporation’s central office at Babar Mahal.

The corporation had increased petrol, diesel and kerosene prices by Rs 2 each. According to the adjusted price, petrol has reached Rs 120 per liter while diesel and kerosene have reached Rs 103 per liter.
