Appointed Nepali CEO for the first time in Everest Bank

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – Sudesh Khaling has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Everest Bank. A meeting of the board of directors has appointed him as the CEO.

Khaling has previously been the CEO of Laxmi Bank. As Punjab National Bank owns 20 percent of the bank, Indian nationals have been the CEOs till now.

The board of directors has appointed Khaling by releasing the current CEO Gajendra Kumar Negi. The tenure of a CEO in a bank is up to 4 years.
