Agreement between Nabil Bank and R & D Innovative Solutions

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021 – An agreement has been signed between Nabil Bank and R & D Innovative Solutions Pvt.

An agreement has been reached to assist the agricultural technicians by providing various banking services under the loan policy of the bank as per the need of the agricultural technicians.

The agreement was signed by Niraj Kumar Basnet (Daniel) and Chairman Sunita Nhemhafuki of Nabil Bank.

Speaking on the partnership, Niraj Kumar Basnet (Daniel) said that Nabil Bank has always given priority to sustainable banking and believed that investing in the agricultural sector would help in the sustainable development of agribusiness.

The Bank is keen to make agricultural technicians successful agri-entrepreneurs and contribute to the economic development of the country by providing various banking facilities and services including agriculture and animal husbandry loans as per the requirement of agricultural technicians.

Along with this partnership, Nabil Bank has made a fresh start by ending the traditional financial investment process by mixing technical knowledge with entrepreneurship development in the agricultural sector.

“One of the main problems in Nepal’s agricultural sector is the inability to run agribusiness or enterprises because of the study of agriculture,” said Sunita Nhemhafuki, chairperson of R & D.

Along with the sustainable development of agri-entrepreneurship, this program is believed to provide technical services to other farmers through the same technology.

Those who have studied JTA, JT, ISCAG and B.Sc AG will be able to participate in this program. Under the program, the bank plans to train at least 100 agricultural technicians in their place within the next one year.

Nabil Bank has 119 branch offices across the country, 185 ATMs and more than 1,500 Nabil Remit agents, providing a continuous network of quality services through a network of agents in different countries. Also, R & D Innovative Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has been in operation since 2012.
