Muktinath Bikas Bank also offers QR service in auto rickshaws

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, APRIL 1, 2021 – Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited’s QR service has also started in auto rickshaws.

Auto rickshaws plying on various routes in Gopiganj, Tandi, Dhankuta and Kakarbhitta will be able to pay online with QR code and both rickshaw drivers and passengers will be able to benefit from this, the bank said.

From this work, passengers riding in auto rickshaws will be able to pay the fare by scanning the QR code on the rickshaw. The bank’s branch managers also provided necessary training to auto rickshaw drivers on how to make secure payments through QR codes.

In order to promote digital transactions, the bikas bank has made an arrangement to withdraw money from any ATM of any bank under Visa network without any charge. Similarly, mobile banking, QR code scan, online loan application, online account opening, internet banking, remittance deposit in the account, etc. can be done from home without attending the bank branch.
