Nepal Bangladesh Bank launches NB online card

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31, 2021 – Nepal Bangladesh Bank has launched NB Online Card as per the circular on International Prepaid Dollar Card issued by Nepal Rastra Bank.

Under this facility, customers can open an account with their PAN card and get a USD card worth USD 500, the bank said.

According to the bank, the card allows customers to pay for purchases of foreign goods and services from countries other than India that are not restricted by Nepal’s prevailing laws.

The bank has informed that the students who want to pursue higher education can also pay for the I-20 ordered from abroad with the said card.

The bank also said that they can pay for the promotion of their business through social media.

So far, the bank has been providing banking facility from 99 branches, 7 extension counters and 82 ATMs.
