Eight billion treasury bills being sold

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MARCH 29, 2021 – Nepal Rastra Bank is to sell treasury bills worth Rs 8 arab 10 crore on Monday. The central bank is going to sell the treasury bill through bidding process.

According to the bank, treasury bills worth Rs 5 arab are being sold for a period of 28 days. The bill will mature on Baisakh 14. Similarly, the treasury bill of Rs 10 crore is being sold for 91 days. The bill will mature on Ashad 15.

Similarly, a bill of Rs. 3 arab will be sold for 182 days. The bill will mature on Asoj 12. Earlier, the bank had sold treasury bills worth Rs 15 arab 33 crore on Chaith 9. -RSS
