Machhapuchhre Bank brings smart dollar card

KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MARCH 28, 2021 – According to a recent circular on international prepaid cards issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has launched MBL smart dollar card.

Customers who have an account with Machhapuchhre Bank can get a card worth USD 500 by submitting their PAN card, the bank said.

The card can also be used to make online payments from e-commerce sites at a maximum of US $500 per annum from countries other than India.

The bank says that customers can make transactions up to US $500 in a year through their card once or repeatedly.

Machhapuchhre Bank, which has been committed to bring new technology-based services to its customers since its inception, has recently launched its own mobile wallet Remittap for the first time in the history of Nepali Commercial Banking.
