Jyoti Bikash Bank launches QR code payment service in Amuwa Bazaar
KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Jyoti Bikash Bank has started payment service from QR code in Amuwa Bazaar and surrounding areas of Rupandehi District from Thursday.
The bank has distributed more than 50 QR codes in Amuwa Bazaar with the objective of making Amuwa Bazaar smart and promoting cashless transactions.
On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of Jyoti Bikash Bank Srichandra Bhatta, Chief of Lumbini, Karnali and Far Western Region Kapil Neupane and Chief of Digital Banking Sudip Dhakal handed over QR codes to shopkeepers in Amuwa Bazaar and surrounding areas.
With the launch of the QR code service, customers can scan their QR from their mobile phones and pay directly from their bank account when paying for items purchased from shops in Amuwa Bazaar.
The digital payment of the goods and services used by you through the QR code service through your own bank account will not be a hassle for the customer as well as the merchant. The bank is confident that the habit of saving will be developed, the trader will not have to go to the bank to deposit the money from his business every day and will be able to get many facilities including simple, easy and secure payment.
The QR code service provided by the bank to entrepreneurs in different parts of the country is encouraging the general customers to do digital transactions.
