Payment can be made abroad using Siddhartha Bank’s e-cum card

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched Siddhartha e-cum card from Thursday with the objective of making foreign currency payments more convenient, modern and world class.

After the operation of this facility, the customers of Siddhartha Bank will be able to pay Nepali Rupee 500 or its equivalent in other convertible foreign currencies and pay abroad from Nepal using Siddhartha Bank’s e-cum card.

The bank said that the user’s customer identification (KYC) details should be updated at the time of issuance of the card and the concerned user should have a permanent account number (PAN) and the user can deposit a maximum of US $500 or equivalent in one year.

The bank believes that this facility will provide easy service to the customers, make the international shopping service more convenient and make the banking system more efficient and customer friendly.
