‘Hamro Patro App’ 10 million downloads

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2021 – The company has stated that 10 million downloads of Hamro Patro have been completed. Hamro Patro app, which has been providing various services through the same app, has completed 10 million or 10 million downloads in Google Play Store.

At the same time, Hamro Patro has become the first Nepali app to be downloaded by 10 million Nepali users, the company said. On this occasion, the founder of the app Shankar Upreti thanked the users, partners and Hamro Patro team. “It’s encouraging us to work harder,” he said.

Now Hamro Patro app has become the most used and downloaded among Nepalis. Of the app’s users, 93 percent are on Android and seven percent are on iOS. Hamro Patro includes a dozen features such as radio, news, calendar, horoscope, price list, astrology, horoscope.

The number of active users in the app is also significant due to daily necessities like exchange rate, stock market, gold and silver price list, vegetable market price, notes, etc. With 1.3 million daily active users, the number of monthly active users in the app is over 7.3 million.

Recently, Messenger has been added to Hamro Patro. The company has stated that the number of people using this feature in the beta version is more than one hundred thousand. A full version of Messenger will also appear on Hamro Patro in the near future. Similarly, iOS users will also be able to use Messenger, said Upreti, the company’s founder.

More than 80 major online news portals and more than 400 radios have been added to Hamro Patro. The app can be used in seven different languages, including Nepali and English.
