‘There was a technical problem with the Pathao‚the service did not stop’
KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2021 – The Pathao company said that there were some problems in the service due to technical problems. The company said that there was no truth in the news that Pathao had disrupted the service in protest of the beating of the Pathao driver.
The service was disrupted due to technical problems seen in the mobile application, market chief Suraksha Hamal of Pathao told Makalu Khabar.
The driver was beaten by a group of taxi drivers at the new bus park on Monday evening. Hamal said that there was no truth in the reports that the service of Pathao was disrupted on Tuesday.
Instead of shutting down the service, the driver was instructed not to wear a PPE set or jacket with the logo of Pathao, she said.
Earlier, the police had said that they would take action against Pathao saying that there was a problem in traffic management while parking the motorcycle on the road.
After that, the driver was instructed not to wear the dress emblazoned with the Pathao logo and the company would not be held accountable if the Pathao suit was violated in violation of the instructions, she said.
The security has informed that full information has not been received about the rider who was beaten on Monday and a decision on compensation will be made after investigation.
