Traffic light connection at Lainchaur and Police Training Center Chowk with the support of Machhapuchhre Bank

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2021 – Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has arranged traffic lights at Lainchaur Chowk in Kathmandu and Police Academy Chowk near the President’s residence with the objective of assisting the traffic management in the capital.

On Monday, Roshan KC and Bishwa Prakash Gautam, directors of Machhapuchhre Bank, handed over the traffic lights to Janak Bhattarai, Senior Superintendent of Police, Metropolitan Traffic Police. Believing to make the traffic safe and orderly, the bank has arranged traffic lights at Lainchaur Chowk and Police Academy Chowk near the President’s residence.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank Santosh Koirala said that the bank has handed over the traffic lights as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Speaking on the occasion, Janak Bhattarai, Senior Superintendent of Police, Metropolitan Traffic Police, expressed confidence that the traffic lights provided by Machhapuchhre Bank would play an important role in enforcing traffic rules among the general public.
