Mahalaxmi Life Insurance completes property laundering prevention training in Kohalpur

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited has provided training on property laundering and prevention of financial investment in terrorist activities in Kohalpur.

The training program conducted by the company on Friday was attended by 22 chiefs from Karnali, Far-Western and Sabik Rapti zones.

The money earned through criminal activities and illegal activities is being laundered through banks and insurance.

To discourage and prevent such acts, the company has provided training to its employees on the legal provisions, purification efforts, reporting procedures and redressal procedures.

Sapana Kharel, senior assistant general manager of the company, provided the training on asset laundering.

On the first day of the two-day training program, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Kamal Panthi imparted training on insurance products and Marketing Chief Shantaraj Dhamala on market management methods.
