Annual general meeting of Nepal Non-Life Insurance Practitioners Association concluded
KATHMANDU: The fifth annual general meeting of the Nepal Non-Life Insurance Practitioners’ Association, an umbrella organization of investors of non-life insurance companies, was held at Hotel Everest, New Baneshwor on Friday evening.
The meeting discussed in detail the current policy issues of the insurance sector, new insurance bill, lack of actuarial, risks arising from various factors including COVID-19, situation of reinsurance companies, various difficulties in insurance business and work to be done for the development of the sector. In the meeting, Chairman of the Working Committee Rajendra Malla informed about the progress of the organization, Treasurer Rajendra Prasad Shrestha informed about the financial condition of the organization and the details were passed. The legislature has made provision for the chairman or director of insurance companies to be represented in this organization.
