Nabil Bank to assist pharmacists

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s leading commercial bank, Nabil Bank and Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners Association, Kathmandu have reached an agreement to assist pharmacists.

The agreement stipulates that the pharmacists will be assisted by providing various banking services under the bank’s credit policy as per the needs of the traders. The agreement has been signed by Niraj Kumar Basnet (Daniel), SME and Head of Microfinance of Nabil Bank and Badri Prasad Shrestha, Chairman of Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners Association, Kathmandu.

The agreement was reached at a large gathering of drug wholesalers from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts organized by the Kathmandu District Branch of the Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners Association. Chief of Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners Association Bharat Bhattarai was present on the occasion.

Through an agreement between Nabil Bank and the Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners ‘Association, it helps to meet the financial needs of members of the Nepal Pharmaceutical Practitioners’ Association.
