You can now pay up to Rs 2 million daily through Connect IPS

KATHMANDU: The limit of digital payment through Connect IPS has reached Rs 2 million. Now, up to Rs 2 million can be paid in a day from Connect IPS, according to the Nepal Clearing House. Earlier, only up to Rs 1 million could be paid daily.

Similarly, up to Rs 200,000 can be paid daily from the Connect IPS mobile application. Earlier, only up to Rs 1 lakh could be paid daily through the application.

The new arrangement came into effect on Wednesday, the clearing house said.

The fee for paying through Connect IPS is also less. There is a fee of Rs 2 to 15 for this.

There is a charge of Rs 15 for payments above Rs 50,000, Rs 10 for transactions between Rs 5,000 and Rs 50,000, Rs 5 for transactions between Rs 500 and Rs 5,000 and Rs 2 for transactions below Rs 500, the clearing house said.
