Stainless steel tank industry in operation in Bhairahawa
KATHMANDU: Panchakanya Group has brought stainless steel tank industry in Bhairahawa Special Economic Zone into operation. Dhurva Kumar Shrestha, vice-chairman of Panchakanya Group, inaugurated the industry at a function on Thursday.
The industry will start its production work regularly from Thursday. The Panchakanya Group has started the second industry of SS Tanki in Bhairahawa Special Economic Zone with the objective of exporting to India. For the first time in Nepal, 10,000 liter SS tanks will be produced by this industry and this industry will produce 250 to 10,000 liters of vertical and horizontal SS tanks.
The industry will produce 80,000, 304 and 316 grade SS tanks annually. Debendra Sahu, deputy general manager of the group, said that the first industry in Kathmandu is currently exporting to Lucknow and Calcutta in India, while the second industry aims to sell its products in North India.
Today’s program was attended by industrialists of Rupendehi region, heads of Bhairahawa Special Economic Zone, employees of Panchakanya Group and other personalities. The Panchakanya Group had brought SS tank industry into operation for the first time in Nepal since 2069 BS.
