Booking of KTM’s bike ‘250 Adventure’ is open
KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of KTM for Nepal, has started selling 250 Adventures in Nepal.
250 Adventure is a cheaper version of 390 Adventure already available in Nepal. Even though the sale started on Thursday, the company had opened the booking a few days ago. Although the design is similar to the 390 Adventure, it has less power.
The 250 Adventure has a 249 cc signal cylinder, liquid cooled BS6 engine. The engine will generate 29.5 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, the company said. It also has state-of-the-art technology such as slipper clutch and fuel injection. Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, this motorcycle can reach a speed of 140 kilo meters per hour.
The 250 Adventure has a 43mm WP Apex inverted suspension at the front and a monoscope at the rear. It has 320mm front and 230mm rear discs for better braking, the company said. With a total weight of 177 kg, the seat height of this motorcycle is 855 mm. Which can be uncomfortable for the low rider. The company has started selling 250 adventures at a price of Rs 749,900.
