Petroleum prices rose again
KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petroleum. Less than two weeks after the price hike, the corporation has decided to raise the price again on Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the corporation, the retail price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has been increased by Rs 2 per liter with effect from today. The selling price of aviation fuel (for domestic flights) has been increased by Rs 2 per liter.
According to the increased price list, petrol has been increased to Rs 118 per liter, diesel and kerosene to Rs 101 and aviation fuel to Rs 74 per liter. The retail prices of LP gas and aviation fuel (for international flights) have been kept unchanged.
Earlier, the corporation had decided to increase the prices of petrol, diesel and aviation fuel as per the new prices sent by the IOC on Falgun 4 and 17.
