Royal Enfield’s Women’s Day Ride on Women’s Day

Kathmandu. Vivek Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. under MV Dugar Group, the official dealer of Royal Enfield Motorcycles in Nepal, has organized a ‘Women’s Day Ride’ program on the occasion of the 111th Women’s Day. The event was inaugurated by Kanak Jammer, Head of Operations, Royal Enfield.

Starting from the Royal Enfield Showroom at Balaju, the first phase was completed by reaching the People’s Rescue Service Committee of Teku via Ridelebanthali-Swayambhu-Balkhu-Sanepa and providing rations and reading materials to the children’s ashram. For the second phase, a 40-kilometer journey was made from the Public Rescue Service Committee to Sanga.

Forty-three riders on 31 Royal Enfield motorcycles took part in the ride.

Journalist Kalpana Maharjan, former DIG Bimala Thapa and Sitashma Lama, who set a world record for climbing Mt. Everest, were present on the occasion. Sunita Deshar, president of the International Motorcycle Association, was the road captain of the event.
