Bank of Kathmandu’s digital donation box at Pashupati

Kathmandu. Bank of Kathmandu Limited has expanded the QR code service as a digital donation box in the Pashupatinath temple premises. The QR code service has been started for the devotees who want to donate in the temple which is under the protection and management of Pashupati Area Development Trust.

Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari inaugurated the service on Friday.

Member Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Trust Dr. Pradip Dhakal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of Kathmandu Limited Prakash Shrestha and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Shobhan Dev Pant were present.

On the occasion, Governor Adhikari thanked Bank of Kathmandu Limited and Pashupati Area Development Trust for arranging digital donation for all the devotees who come to pay homage to Lord Pashupati Nath. Informing that Nepal Rastra Bank is conducting cashless transactions as a campaign, he highlighted the economic and social benefits of digital transactions.

On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr. Shobhan Dev Pant, informed that the Bank has been giving priority to this cashless transaction campaign.

Member Secretary of the Trust Dr. Pradip Dhakal said that the digital donation board would help in the management of donations and offerings within the temple premises.
