Rajen in the pre-quarterfinals
Kathmandu. Rajen Lama of Azima Snooker House has entered the pre-quarterfinals of the First Chakra Lama / Kisan Lama Memorial Nationwide Open Snooker Championship. In the highest prize money competition held at Azima Snooker House in Buddhism, Rajen defeated Rajendra Shrestha of Q147 4-1.
Jimmy Lama of Chamunda defeated Nitesh Rajbhandari of Banepa 4-0, Bikas Maharjan of Pokhara defeated Biken Rijal 4-0 and Som Lama of Last Break defeated Binod Shrestha of Break Point 4-1 to secure a place in the pre-quarterfinals.
The pre-quarterfinal match will start from Friday. There will be 4 games on that day. Regan Shrestha of Nepal No. 1 Azima will play against Sanoj Khadgi of Last Break, Sanjay Bajracharya of Break Point will play against Wangchu Tamang of AXN, Kritesh Gyawali of Mount Everest will play against Aman Karki of First Break and Rajan Gurung of Bamboo Cottage will play against Milan Lama of S Snooker.
The remaining four pre-quarterfinals will be played on Saturday. The pre-quarterfinals will be on the basis of ‘Best of Nine’.
