China allows trial of 16 vaccines against corona

Beijing. The Chinese government has allowed testing of at least 16 vaccines made in China. China’s National Medical Products Administration has approved testing for at least 16 corona vaccines made in China.

According to the agency on Saturday, the Chinese government has given permission to test the vaccines of 16 companies here, out of which six phases have been tested in three phases.

Vaccines manufactured by two of these vaccine companies are said to have gained market share both inside and outside China.

Sinopharm vaccine, developed by China National Biotech Group, is now on the market. Similarly, the corona vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech has also entered the market and is said to be widely used.

The two vaccines were approved by the Chinese government on December 30 and February 5 this year. Similarly, China’s government drug management agency said on February 9 that more than 40 million vaccines had been handed over to drug companies.

The vaccines are said to be administered to people working in China and those at risk of contracting the virus.
