16-point decline in the stock market

KATHMANDU: FEBRUARY 11 – The stock market has declined by 16.11 points on the last day of the week. The index, which had been rising steadily for a week, fell to 2526.92 points on Thursday.

A total of 16 million 58 thousand 458 shares of 206 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 8 billion 41 crore 17 lakh 32 thousand on Thursday.

All group indices except banks, development banks and mutual funds declined on Thursday. The group index of life insurance group has declined the most by 214 points and non-life insurance by 207 points.

The highest earning companies in the market on Thursday are Chandragiri Hills, Lumbini Development Bank and Nabil Bank.
