Savitra’s hat trick in APF’s victory
Kathmandu. The departmental team APF continued its unbeaten run in the ongoing Women’s National League in the capital on Wednesday by defeating Chandrapur Municipality outside Kathmandu.
APF has continued its unbeaten run in the only match played at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) headquarters in Lalitpur. Striker Savitra Bhandari scored six goals including a hat trick in the APF victory. Similarly, captain Anita Basnet scored two goals.
Anita opened the scoring in the first minute and scored her second individual goal in the 54th minute. Savitra scored six goals including a hat-trick in the sixth, 33rd, 47th, 60th, 62nd and 79th minutes.
Along with this, APF has won for the eighth time in a row in the ongoing league. APF has added 24 points from 8 games. After the victory, APF has strengthened its chances of winning the title.
Defeated Chandrapur has added 6 points in 8 games. Chandrapur is in the sixth position of the league. There will be two games under the league on Thursday. In the first match, Chaudandigarhi will face Waling. Similarly, Army will compete with Biratnagar in the second match.
