Zimbabwe’s foreign minister dies of corona

Harare. Zimbabwe’s Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo died of a corona infection on Wednesday. He died Wednesday, a day after being confirmed infected with the corona virus, officials said.

According to a statement issued by the President and Acting Chief Secretary of the Council of Ministers George Charamba, health workers have confirmed his death due to Corona.

His family members also said he died of corona, Xinhua reported. “My brother died of the corona virus. He was diagnosed with corona only yesterday,” said one of his brothers on Wednesday.

He is the third minister to die in Zimbabwe due to corona, officials said.

Outbreaks of the corona virus have been reported in Zimbabwe since March 2020. Agency
