Weather: Rainfall expected in various regions

KATHMANDU: Currently, Nepal is experiencing the influence of western winds, local winds, and the low-pressure system around Bihar, India.

Across the country, there have been slight to moderate changes in weather, with some areas of State 2, Bagmati, and Koshi States experiencing light to moderate rainfall.

Additionally, there have been scattered light to moderate rains in a few places in Gandaki and Lumbini States.

During the daytime, there have been partial to general changes in weather patterns.

Some areas of the hilly regions, including possible areas of cloud cover, thunder, and light rainfall, have been observed.

Similarly, in one or two places in the Terai region, there is a possibility of cloud cover and light rainfall.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high mountainous and Himalayan regions of the country.

During the night, there have been partial to general changes in weather patterns. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in some areas of Koshi State, State 2, Bagmati State, Gandaki State, and Lumbini State.

In addition, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall, along with the possibility of cloud cover and thunder in one or two places in the hilly regions of the remaining States.

There is also a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high mountainous and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States.
