Karnali newly appointed minister sworn-in

KATHMANDU: Ran Singh Pariyar, the newly appointed inter-ministerial minister for Karnali State, has taken the oath of office and secrecy today in front of Karnali State Chief Tilak Pariyar.

Pariyar, nominated by the ruling CPN (Maoist Centre), was appointed as a minister, under the supervision of the party’s state parliamentary party chief.

Previously, on April 9, Yam Lal Kandel, the leader of the CPN (UML) parliamentary party, was appointed as the Chief Minister of Karnali State.

Just 15 days after assuming office as Chief Minister, Kandel, along with expanding the cabinet, has prepared to seek a vote of confidence tomorrow.
