KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held bilateral talks today during the Emir’s visit to Nepal.

The discussions at Hotel Saoltee in Kathmandu covered various topics including bilateral interests, mutual cooperation, expansion of relations, and shared interests.

Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, Rajan Bhattarai, provided insights into international affairs during the meeting.

The bilateral meeting also saw the participation of Nepali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha along with other ministers.

Following the talks, agreements were signed between the two nations on communication, sports, science and technology, industry, and commerce.

Amir Al Thani’s two-day official visit to Nepal was upon the invitation of President Ram Chandra Paudel.
