KATHMANDU: Both ACC Premier Cup semi-final matches are underway today, with Nepal facing off against the UAE in the first semi-final.

Following UAE’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss, Nepal began their batting innings.

Notably, Nepal has made a change in their lineup for today’s match, with Sompal Kami joining the playing XI in place of Pratish GC, who featured in the last match.

Nepal and UAE allies are often regarded as the country’s main rivals.

The contest between these two is also known as the Associats Country Classic. So far, Nepal and the UAE have played nine T20 matches.

The winner of this competition will be entitled to compete in the T20 Asia Cup in 2025, while the top three countries will be invited to the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
