Body of a person drowned in Seti River retrieved by APF

KATHMANDU: The body of an individual who drowned in the Seti River in Luwakha, Ward No. 8 of Doti Municipality, was recovered by the Armed Police Force on May 1.

Similarly, a 38-year-old man named Nar Bahadur Tamang, residing in Ward No. 3 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali district, was swept away by the same river on April 29.

The rescue team from Battalion No. 7 of the Armed Police Force in Baidyanath Battalion Headquarters, Dhangadhi, retrieved his body from a depth of 20 feet in the river.

His body has been sent to the district hospital in Silgadhi for post-mortem examination.
