KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is set to convene today for a crucial meeting.

The meeting will be held at 11 am in the Parliament Building New Baneshwar.

The session aims to conclude the ongoing House Session by midnight.

The government has formally requested President Ram Chandra Poudel to bring the session to a close.

At the beginning of the meeting, there is an agenda for the Speaker to read out the details of the letter received from the President’s office regarding the approval of the bill.

Similarly, in today’s meeting, all oral and written questions and answers received from various ministries in the current session will be tabled by the relevant ministers in the possible agenda.

The Speaker of the House, Devraj Ghimire, has informed the Parliament Secretariat that there is an agenda for submitting notices of the absence of honorable members who have been absent in 10 or more meetings for the approval of the House in accordance with Sub-rule (1) of Rule 213 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079.
